Rental Agreement

ROSALIA ROAD RENTAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

By placing an order and/or submitting payment to Rosalia Road (“Company”), the client (“Customer”) agrees to the following Rental Terms & Conditions.


1. RENTAL PERIOD

The rental period begins at the scheduled delivery or pickup time and ends at the agreed return time.

Rental item descriptions, quantities, delivery/pickup details, and rental dates are outlined in the Customer’s invoice and/or order confirmation and are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions.

Customer assumes full responsibility for rental items during the rental period.


2. PAYMENT TERMS

• A 50% deposit is required to reserve rental items.

• The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days prior to the scheduled delivery date.

• Orders not paid in full by the balance due date may be canceled at the discretion of Rosalia Road Wedding Florals, and the initial deposit will be forfeited.

Sales Tax: 9.5% applies to California orders.

Accepted Payment Methods: Credit card, debit card, ACH transfer, or other approved electronic payment methods.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required for each rental item and will be clearly listed on the Customer’s invoice. The security deposit is held to cover damage, excessive cleaning, late returns, loss, or replacement.

Security deposits will be returned within five (5) business days after all rental items have been received and inspected, provided no damage, excessive cleaning, late fees, or missing items are identified.

If deductions are required, Customer will receive written notification outlining the charges. Any remaining balance of the security deposit will be refunded to the original payment method within five (5) business days of inspection.

If damages exceed the total security deposit collected, the remaining balance will be charged to the payment method on file.


3. CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellations must be made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled delivery date.

• Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the delivery date will receive a refund of all payments made.

• Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled delivery date forfeit the 50% rental deposit, but will be refunded the security deposit in full.

Failure to submit final payment by the balance due date (one month prior to delivery) will be treated as a cancellation, and the initial 50% deposit will be forfeited.

All refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

Custom, specialty-ordered, or shipped items are non-refundable once ordered.


4. DELIVERY & PICKUP

Delivery service is available within Southern California. Delivery and setup/strike fees (if applicable) are outlined in the Customer’s invoice.

For Customer pickup orders:

• Customer assumes responsibility upon release of items.

• Items must be transported safely and protected from damage.


5. CONDITION & DAMAGE

All items are delivered clean and in good condition.

Customer agrees to return items in the same condition, excluding normal wear. The following are considered damage beyond normal wear:

• Wax stains

• Burns

• Permanent staining (oil, ink, etc.)

• Tears or rips

• Excessive dirt or mud

Normal laundering is included in rental pricing. Extraordinary cleaning required due to staining or misuse may result in additional cleaning charges.

Do not wash linens unless instructed. Shake free of debris and return dry. Do not pack damp linens in sealed containers.

Rosalia Road will inspect items within 5 business days of return. Damage, excessive cleaning, late return, or missing items will be deducted from the applicable security deposit.

Lost or destroyed items will be charged at full replacement cost.

 


 

6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer agrees to:

• Use items only for their intended purpose

• Protect linens from open flame and candle wax

• Not sublease or transfer rental items

• Notify Company immediately of any damage

• Return items on time and in proper condition


7. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION

Customer assumes full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss occurring during the rental period.

Rosalia Road is not responsible for:

• Misuse of rental items

• Weather-related damage

• Venue-related damage

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Rosalia Road from any claims arising from use of rental items.

If required by venue, Customer agrees to obtain event insurance.


 

8. LATE RETURNS

If items are not returned within 5 days of the agreed return date, Rosalia Road reserves the right to charge full replacement cost in addition to late fees.


 

9. GOVERNING LAW

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in California.

 

AGREEMENT

By submitting payment, Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Rental Terms & Conditions.
